Dear Log Book May 9th 1497
Ive just herd from Captain Cabot that I've been hired to Captain Cabots journey to the unknown lands undiscovered.
I am so excited to go on this exciting journey but at the same time, I am really scared of the ship sinking. I am planning to bring a lot of clothing for overnight shifts pr overnight times. I will bring my log book to write down all the experinces on the ship and a telescope to see far away on the sea
I can't belive the time will come in 5 days

It is April 15th 1497 and I am very exited because I have never been on a big ship before. I would like to bring with me a Qudrent because then I can tell how far away the equater is. Also I will bring a life jacket so if someone was drowning I could save them and not drawn my self. see you on the ship Captain.

Soon, I set sail with John Cabot, I'm so excited, I just can't belive it!
Except I have to pack in a few days, and and Captian Cabot says to pack only a few items. I think I should pack a small supply of biscuts and my lucky compass, But, I also want to be a loyal crew member, and take a supply of water and bandages on board.

I would like to take a map and a binocolaus because we' re going to bump into things if we didn' t have any binocolaus, and if we didn' t have any maps, we' re going to get lost.

I hope I get to go in the crows nest because I like to climb and looking over the ocean from a height would be awesome! I am going to bring my logbook and spare clothes. I can still not believe I made it on to John Cabots crew! I only have 13 days until I leave for new land and I still have everything to pack. Maybe I could get help from family and friends.I am going to miss Piper so much. Maybe I should pack a picture of him so I don't get so sad. Well I better start packing bags now. Dear log book,
John Cabot just informed me that I will be one of the eight-teen ship boys to go with him! I just can’t wait until we go, but first I need to pack my stuff for the trip. Let’s see I’ll take a canteen so I have water when ever I want, and of course I’ll bring my log book so I can plan what I’ll do. I can’t wait until I go on the Mathew!!!

Dear Diary, MAY 13th 1497
I'm going with John Cabot on his journey. Right now, I'm ouside the ship, staring at my future home for a while. It's called the Matthew. I'm heading home to pack my things.
I am nervous and exited, but on the other hand I'll miss my home very much. It's getting late and I still haven't chose which 2 items to take with me. I'm thinking of bringing a map because I don't want to be parted from my home forever! I might bring lemons, to prevent scurvey, but then the sailors are probably bringing them anyways. I really want to take my diary because it's been with me everywhere, and if I don't come back (which I hope wont happen), somebody will find my diary and finish my dreams.
Finally! I know the 2 items I'm taking with me .
I'm taking a map, and my dairy. I'm also woeful (sad) because I'll miss my family and my friends. I can't wait for tomorrow, and I am looking forwards to meeting the rest of the crew. Tomorrow the adventure will begin!

I am overly excited to go on the "Matthew"! I'm still shocked and surprised that Cabot accepted me. Cabot told me I could bring two things with me. One of the things I'm bringing with me is my snowman snowy because he sleeps with me every night and I got it from my parents. I'm also bringing a picture of my family so I don't get to homesick. Those are the two things I need to bring on the Matthew with me. See ya later!

I am so happy to say that Captian John Cabot chose me to join him on "The Matthew." I'll miss my famiy and friends when we set sail to the newfundland. I am happy to say that I made it to go on Captain Cabots ship voyage.
The 2 things I will bring is binoculars to see far distances and I will bring an item that I enjoy incase something bad happens it will make me feel better.
