I've just set sail. There are several crew, but we don't have such a big ship. Ive got my jobs from Captain Cabot, we each got a job, I got scrub the deck and steer the ship.
Wow this is so much harder then I though. WhenI was on my 2nd job, I was very tired that I can fall asleep any second. My shft ended at 10.00 am and it was 11 am since the Matthew set sail. The Matthew for my estimate is 30 meters long and 30 meters tall including the mast. Thats all

Dear Diary,
I have just set sail on THE MATTHEW, and I allready miss miss my family, but, some of my friends are on board too!
Captian Cabot says I'm ready for kictchen duty! I get to clean the fish and make/serve the meals; I knew the spare biscuts and water would come in handy!

Dear Diary,
I' ve just left to go on a journey with Captain John Cabot. I scrubbed the deck, and learned some jobs that I couldn' t do. When I was resting, I took care of Ship' s Cat. She was called The Kitty Of The Ship. The name was shortened to Kitty. I also looked at the fishes that got caught by us. Interesting. The life on the boat was fascinating. Who knows? Maybe it' s going to get very dull. Well, I got to wash dishes!

Today was amazing! I tried my job out I am the boats climber and I also prepare the food to put in the bowls. The boat looks esquisate! It might be small but truthfully its the best boat I have ridden! Everybody is so delightfully nice! I am so glad I brought the photo album album I look at it everyday! Well Bye Bye for now!

I just finished my first job. It wasn't that exiting and kind of tiring, but I hope my next one will be much more intresting.My crew is really nice and chatty, which can cheer you up. I'm looking forward to my 2nd job and hope I get a chance to go up to the crows nest, because seing the ocean sometimes makes me relaxed and calm, and right now I really need to be these 2 things.

It took a long time but I’m finally on the Matthew and I’ve met Captain John Cabot!!!
But, I do kind of miss my family so not all is great. Well I guess I should meet other the crew members. I’m sure I’m going to make lots more friends. Well see you next time, bye.

May 14th 1497
This is my first day at sea, and I'm scrubbing the decks. Sometimes I wonder what they put on bord the ship, it smells of fish. I feel exited and scared at the sametime, because I don't know when we could be attact. I'm looking forword to seeing new land with you Captain Cabot. Sleeping in a small cabin at night is diffrent because I can constently hear the waves lapping against the ship and the seagulls cawing. Sometimes I think of home and how faraway I'm going to be. When I look at the black eiry water I think it might try to ingulf me. I am looking foword to going on the crows nest because I would like to see where the sea and the sky meat.

I have just said goodbye to my family and iam on my way to set sail with captain Jonh Cabot the thing i was order to do was to wash the deck than lookout the crow's nest then. I had a 4 hour brake like everyone else we played game's had something to eat and then had a rest than i was order to stay up all night to stear the ship.

It is my first day at sea and it is overwhelming! The sight of the sea is so beutiful especialy in the crows nest. Anyways John Cabotis a great sailor and a nice man. I have made some friend and I am having fun.

I just got on the Matthew and Captian Cabot already asigned me a job for today! My job is to wash the decks because one of the crew members gets sea sick ALOT! I met two really cool people today Jack Sparrow, and Ship Boy. We all think the Matthew is beautiful, the sails are perfect, everythings tight and sparkily. It moves smoothly across the water. I'm having loads of fun! Well talk to you soon bye,

This is my first day on ship and it looks hard but fun at the same the same time.Note to self :you can not sun-tan on ship because no sun and no room.My sleep last night was not the best .They say that ship people sleep with one eye open which I had alot oftrouble with.So next time I am leaving that job to my crew mates.I have made some friends who go by the name of Scruber and Ship boy who arn't liking this as much as we thought we would.Also I need to rember to not look off ship because last time I did I throw up for more then a hour.Things are not going so good.

It's my my first day on the Matthew and It's about lunch time (12:00) and I'm going to get some food...This is some different food,the food back home was warm not cold like these biscutes there like a hockey puck. Oh ya my ship job is climbing the rigging and I get watch from the crows nest and I made a friend Micmac Gramham he also climbs the rigging too. So far it's hard on the ship but I willget used to it.

I am 5 minutes away from setting sail i hope i did not forget anything as i wave good bye i start to cry. I'm ocuppied by some crew mates scrubber and jack sparrow. WOW i've got a job already my friend jack sparow gets sick all the time so me and scrubber have to mop it up. we think "The Matthew" is a small boat but, how its put toghether it beatiful the sails are perficly straight flag waves to and frow when the wind blows

I have just said my good byes to my family and friends, I'm sure I'll miss them a lot. Captain Cabot has told me my job and it is watching out on the crows nest, good thing I brang my binoculars!!
Oh, by the way I have just met 2 really awsome people their names are poopdeckjen and kathy, they are very nice and I think that I will become good friends together.
Well, I'd better go now.
